"At this point, I pulled up Word and began writing the script for the preview. It went like this: 'Page 3, Panel 1: Hot Dog Stand at Austin, TX.' Real scientific and all..."
"Harry's name was changed to Jay Harryhausen. A mixture of Harry Knowles and Ray Harryhausen. If you don't know who Ray Harryhausen is, you should. He's the godfather of stop-motion animation. As a young lad, I grew up watching his work on Clash of the Titans, Jason and the Argonauts & One Million Years B.C.. After seeing those flicks, I was inspired to make my own stop-motion 8mm movies in the backyard with my Star Wars action figures. God, I was a geek. Regardless, Ray & Harry both embody the same spirit of 'coolness,' thus the name 'Jay Harryhausen' was born. And I renamed the hot dog stand to 'Austin Tails' -- for some reason."
